My talented daughter in law Sara does amazing renditions of pets. For the month of February, she's offering 15% off pet portrait commissions on 11x14 canvasses. This is the perfect gift for your sweetheart on Valentine's Day!

Recycle for 2011!

You can take your plastic bags back to the grocery store to be recycled, where they can be made into plastic lumber. Of course, it would be much better if you brought your own sacks. Reusable grocery sacks are also made from recycled plastic and are so affordable now. Another useful tip, you don't have to wash out bottles, cans, or remove labels from recyclable items anymore, this way you'll save water too.

Your fabulous Feng Shui tip!

Here's a fantastic tip to get you started off to a brand new year. Paint your home in deep rich hues of red, purple or green these are known as "wealth" colours. You don't have to paint your entire home in these, a wall here or there will suffice. Red stands for power, purple is the strongest wealth colour, green is a strong, vibrant colour of money as well as new growth.

As always I enjoy hearing from you, please drop me a line and let me know what your aspirations for 2011 are?

I hope all your desires will be manifested this year!
