Radio, Radio, Radio!

I love spending time with Drew and Kaci on 98.9 KYIS FM.  I will be on the air with them on Monday Sept. 27 @ 4p.m.  The two hosts are just as charming in person as they are on the air!  This time we will discuss Feng Shui.  Please tune in and listen/call.  Their number is 405.460.9899.

Singles Mingle!

Twice a year Drew and Kaci from KYIS FM host a "Singles Mingle".  This year the Mingle is going to be on Saturday Oct. 9th.  Singles call in to obtain tickets to the Mingle.  The people attending are evenly divided between females and males; something Drew and Kaci pay close attention to.  It's an evening of fun, entertainment and perhaps meeting the love of your life!  I will be there doing tarot readings for the attendees!  Listen to Drew and Kaci weekdays from 3-7 p.m. to win tickets for yourself and maybe I'll see you there!

I feel very fortunate to have loving friends in my life.  Friends are a direct reflection of who you are.  The people we associate with; show the rest of the world who we are.  Recently my daughter Reina's friend Renee came to visit her.  I noticed the close bond these two young women share with each other.  The jokes they share and common interests.  It was heartwarming to see their friendship.  I have watched their friendship deepen and continue to blossom over the years.  It brought into focus the great friends I share my life with.  These women (and some men) have seen me through good times as well as some tough times.  Friends will always encourage you, never rain on your parade and always be your enthusiastic cheerleader!  (Minus the short cheerleader outfits.... because the feminist in me won't allow that !)  I want to thank my friends for always being there. You are the bright spot in my life.

Your recycle tip!

Junk mail-- we all get a ton of it!  Here's a way to reuse it-- use junk mail for scrap paper. Let the kids draw on these papers, use them for origami, or cut them up for collages. You could also run junk mail paper through your shredder to be used as packing material or for placing in the bottom of a gift basket or bag.  Reusing is far more economical than buying paper or magazines for projects.  Another reader suggested taking your magazines to nursing homes, since they are always in need of new material to read.

Here's your FS tip refresher!

Keep your stove clean always!
Sweep the path to your front door weekly!
Organize your wallet regularly!
Make sure your bedroom is clutter free!
Buy only the things you LOVE!

As always I enjoy your remarks and look forward to hearing from you.  So please drop me a line.
Until next month...

I can sense fall in the air!
