Summer, summer, summer!

Summer has to be my favorite time of the year.  I get to experience life on the open road and drive all over this amazing country.  When my road trip ends I feel as though I am saying goodbye to a good friend for another year.  Driving the open road is my preferred way to travel.  The possibilities are endless.  It was a great summer.  Spending time in Portland, God's green country and then Vancouver, God's other green country!  In between here and there, the landscape is awesome.  I love the uniqueness of each state I travel through.  It was fun to paint, family members claimed the paintings I produced so none were sold.  I did go to our favorite restaurants and familiar haunts.  I also did a radio show with my sister on RJ1200 in Vancouver.  It will be uploaded to my website soon.  A lot of people were unable to listen, so if you are interested you can go to my website and listen www.sunitasitara.com.  Some of the show is actually in Hindi... let me know what you think?

Reusing--your recycle tip!

Here's  something we don't think of too often --reusing!  What do you do with your old magazines? Well, before you recycle them, someone else might want to read them. Call your local library or doctors' or dentists' clinics to find out if they would like them. Recycling is good, but reusing is even more eco-friendly.  I also reuse my plastic food storage bags too.  I wash and dry them to use again.  Save money and reuse at the same time!

Your Feng Shui tip.

Move your furniture around every four to six months, it's fun to create something new and exciting to come home to. You will also change the flow of energy, which is good to do every so often.  You will be moving stagnant energy and revitalizing your home's personality.  Your home desires a makeover too!  Remember when placing furniture, less is always best. Too much furniture can make us feel cramped and can restrict the flow of our opportunities. So, move that sofa today!

I realized on my way home this summer how much I love the wide-open spaces of the Midwest.  Though the beauty of the Northwest always takes my breath away; I  yearn to see the horizon!  It's good to know these things about one's personality, and it's good to be home!  I always enjoy your comments; please let me know what you did for the summer?  Until next month...

Labour Day is almost here!

If you wish to be removed from this e-newsletter, please let me know and I would be happy to oblige.
