A bounty of greetings to one and all!
Welcome to the November issue of my e-newsletter.
In this issue, my teaching schedule for December.
Au-revoir Pretty Kitty.
A restaurant find.
Your recycle tip.
And, last but certainly not least, your Feng Shui tip for this month.
In December I will be teaching (with the help of my wonderful daughter) Tofu 101 on Thursday December 3rd. at Francis Tuttle.
I have a new e-mail program, and with anything new being installed there can be glitches. If, you happen to receive more than one mailing, or you wish to be removed from my e-newsletter list, please do let me know and I will remedy the situation!
So long Murphy Brown.
Our precious cat Murphy Brown, left this plane of existence on Saturday Nov. 7th. Sixteen years ago, my daughter Reina and I found Murphy at a bistro in Shawnee. We were having our afternoon cup of tea. She was a tiny, scrawny little thing who stole our hearts. And, last Saturday, she quietly slipped away from us; it was just the two of us with Murphy, when she left us. I thought that was so fitting. We found her and we were with her in her last moments. She died peacefully in Reina's home and we are so grateful we did not have to
"put her down". Thank you Murphy for gracing our lives for the past sixteen years. We will miss your soft fur, your purring and that pretty kitty face.
My dear friend Valerie told me about this restaurant. It's called Sage and it's downtown OKC, 228 NE 2nd Street. As a vegetarian, I am always looking for good vegetarian food that is delicious and cooked! I get tired of eating salads and sandwiches made from portobello mushrooms! Last time I looked, I was not a rabbit. So, I was happy to find this place. They have a great selection of veggie choices, along with one of my most favorite things to eat-- a really cheesy mac 'n' cheese. It was so delicious!

Your recycle tip.
Here's a great tip for all you coffee, frappachinos, double latte drinkers out there. Take your own stainless steel mug to the drive through next time. In the United States we use fourteen billion disposable cups a year! These cups are lined with petroleum derived plastic and they are not easily recycled. We use twenty five billion styrofoam cups a year also! Styrofoam requires a lot of energy to produce and is essentially made to end up in a landfill. So many billions of cups are too many non bio-degradable items that are going into the landfills. I always find it amusing to see people driving a hybrid car, yet drinking their coffee from a disposable cup.... that is an oxymoron! So, get with the program and BYOC!
Your Feng Shui tip.
To have better health during this winter, make sure your master bathroom, or any other bathroom's door is closed at night. Keep the toilet lid down at all times. This action will stop an energy drain. You will sleep better and have more energy everyday. It's a simple cure, yet it will help you feel more rejuvenated, healthy and alert.
As always, I enjoy hearing from you, so please drop me a line. I feel very blessed to have so many people who wish to enroll in my classes and call me for consultations. I feel privileged to be a part of your life journey. Thank you.
I hope you and yours will enjoy Thanksgiving.
If you wish to be removed from this e-newsletter, please let me know and I would be happy to oblige.
