Welcome to the April issue of my e-newsletter.
As always this issue will have my teaching schedule for the month of May.

Your recycle tip.
And, that all important Feng Shui tip of the month.

In May I will be teaching the following classes at Francis Tuttle.
Wed. May 6, Vegetarian Indian cooking.
Thursday May 7, Feng Shui. I hope to see some familiar faces in either or both classes.

Mother's Day!

So, the woman who gave birth to you will be honored on May 10 this year. I have never understood the need to set aside a day to honor special people in our lives. Do the card, flower and gift companies think we forget who gave birth to us?! Mother's day is the single most busy day for the telephone companies. Busier than any other holiday. Mother's day is celebrated here in the US only, though I think companies in England maybe catching on. What do the mother's of the rest of the world do on this day? Though, both of my wonderful children and in-law children set aside time to pamper me on this day, I would much rather have 365 days of love and adoration! After all, I did bring into this world two perfect human beings and therefore made the lives of my in-law children so much more interesting! I vote that all us mothers band together and declare we want 365 days of absolute dedication from our children. Think about this, we always know who our mother is, we live in her body for nine months. We know her voice, her likes and dislikes. Her body nurtures us. So, I figure a lifetime of devotion from our children is well deserved!

Your recycle tip.

Seems like everyone is getting on the save our planet Earth band wagon. As I am writing this, today April 22, is Earth Day. The planet Earth will survive, it's the humans who will not survive. We are actively making our environment uninhabitable for ourselves. By polluting our air, water and ground. For some reason, people are not comprehending the simple correlation between destroying the environment and making it uninhabitable for ourselves. By not recycling, daily we add to the landfills. All this stuff is not going to magically disappear! We have to start to recycle everything. If, your apartment complex does not recycle, demand that it begin to do so. If, your office does not recycle, start a program to recycle. If, your neighbourhood does not recycle, petition your local government to start offering recycling. Your future on this planet is in your hands, become a good steward of your home.

Your Feng Shui tip.

Health to all of us is very important. Feng Shui addresses this in very specific ways. In order to have optimal health, have healthy green plants in your home. If, you do not posses a green thumb, silk plants will also work. If, you do get real plants, it's important for them to be healthy. All dead leaves need to be removed and the plants have to be tended to with tender loving care. Water them regularly and feed them the necessary nutrients also. By doing this, you will improve your health.

India on my mind.

It's been about three weeks since my return from India. Friends have asked if I have returned to normal? I am having a harder time adjusting. I miss hearing Hindi all day long. I miss Indian food 24/7! And, I plain miss Indian hospitality. I have made a promise to both my children that in the next couple of years, we will all go to India together. Trouble is, I don't think I can wait that long!

As always, I look forward to hearing from you, so please do stay in touch.
Enjoy the rest of April!
